About:
The Midsummer pattern is so near and dear to my heart. Not only is it beyond comfortable in all lengths, perfect for hot weather, great for lounging or a unique style for dressing up, it was the very first pattern I wanted to make. It took me three years to finally make it happen and I could not be more excited to get to share this pattern with the world. I love it as pants with wedges, a cute top and statement earrings. I love it as shorts with chucks and a t-shirt. This pattern is so versatile in style and season!
Difficulty: Beginner
Techniques Involved: Basting, finishing raw edges, adding lace to a hem, inserting elastic, hemming, adding a waistband
All files are PDF files that can be printed at home on Letter or A4 sized paper. We’ve placed the pattern pieces on individual layers so you can print only the size(s) you need, saving you on paper and ink.

I was so happy with how easy this pattern was to sew up. Even when I had to grade out two sizes from waist to hip. The pants version is perfect for midsummer nights!

Love the versatility of these and all the possibilities of shorts, capris, and pants. They are a quick and easy sew and are super comfortable. Tip: be sure to top stitch the layers together for the most comfy fit that will stay in place all day!

The Midsummer shorts are wonderful. The pattern is easy to understand and is such a quick sew; perfect for beginners. I made an XL and didn’t have to make any adjustments to my pattern for fit. So fun and simple and I would recommend them to anyone looking for comfy shorts.
