There are three sleeve lengths: Long Sleeve, Short Sleeve, and Sleeveless. With each length, you can choose to hem the sleeves or finish them with a cuff.
There are two leg lengths: Shorts and Pants. With each length, you can choose to hem the legs or finish them with a cuff.
If the child wears a diaper (cloth or disposable), I recommend adding a gusset for extra room in that area.
Additionally, you can make your Muse shirt length, rather than playsuit.
Techniques Involved: Sewing knit fabric, topstitching, applying fusible interfacing, adding knit bands, adding a sleeve, hemming knit fabric (optional), adding metal or plastic snaps.
All files are PDF files that can be printed at home on Letter or A4 sized paper. Each pattern includes one file for the pattern and print-at-home pieces, and another file containing the copy shop A0 (33.1″ wide) pattern pieces. We’ve placed the pattern pieces on individual layers so you can print only the size(s) you need, saving you on paper and ink.
This pattern is designed for light to medium weight knit fabrics and requires at least 30% crosswise stretch. Pique, Tricot, Jersey, Interlock, and Rayon Spandex are just a few great options. You’ll also need medium to heavy weight fusible interfacing or fleece to use as interfacing and up to 10 snap sets.
