About:
There are two bodice styles, Solid and Twisted. The twisted bodice has an adorable triangle cut-out below the bust with a unique twist at the top.
There are five body styles included: Bikini, Crop, Tank, Peplum, and Maternity Tank.
Bikini length has a narrow 1 1/4” wide band under the bust. Crop Top has a short body that extends to just above the natural waist. Tank Length goes to the hip bones and leaves no belly showing. The Peplum Top is in between the Crop and Tank in length, falling to just below the belly button.
The Maternity Tank uses the same Back Body piece as the regular Tank but it has a larger and longer Front Body which gathers at the sides and gives plenty of room for a growing belly.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Techniques Involved: Sewing knit fabric, topstitching, sewing elastic, burrito rolling for enclosed seams, and gathering (optional).
All files are PDF files that can be printed at home on Letter or A4 sized paper. Each pattern includes one file for the pattern and print-at-home pieces, and another file containing the copy shop A0 (33.1″ wide) pattern pieces. We’ve placed the pattern pieces on individual layers so you can print only the size(s) you need, saving you on paper and ink.
This pattern is designed for light to medium weight swim knit fabrics and requires at least 50% crosswise stretch. This fabric content gives the garment a four way stretch which gives the necessary coverage.

Such a well written pattern as I’ve come to expect from SUAT patterns. I love that there is a maternity option included so there really is something for everyone!

My twist bikini is the most amazing swim top I’ve ever worn! I feel dynamite in it <3 And thankfully, it only looks difficult to make it- it's super easy to construct!

I am struggling with wearing bottoms during this pregnancy so being able to just purchase the top is so convenient. I love the way it fits and the coverage as well.

The twist in this top is so cute, and it’s really comfortable to wear! I’m actually thinking of making some out of cl as sports bras for over the summer.
Lindsay –

Made this in a cotton lycra one size bigger. Makes a fun summer top, layering piece or pj top.
