Baby and Kids Wildflower

About: The Wildflower is so much more than a dress! Not only does it have two skirt styles, tiered and half circle, each style has three lengths! There is a built in bra included in the pattern for use with the bodice so you don’t have to wear a bra at all with this pattern! This pattern can also be made as a bra/workout top/bathing suit top. The unique neckline of the Wildflower gives the look of a halter neckline without the weight and uncomfortable feeling on your neck. There are options to make either straight straps in the back or straps that cross over.

Techniques Involved: Basting, finishing raw edges, turning fabric tubes, lining a bodice, hemming, optional techniques: adding elastic to a seam allowance, inserting elastic in to a band

All files are PDF files that can be printed at home on Letter or A4 sized paper. Each pattern includes one file for the pattern and print-at-home pieces, and another file containing the copy shop A0 (33.1″ wide) pattern pieces. We’ve placed the pattern pieces on individual layers so you can print only the size(s) you need, saving you on paper and ink.

This pattern is designed for medium to light weight knit fabric. The bodice requires a more sturdy fabric with 50% 4-way stretch and great recovery, such as cotton lycra,  Supplex, and Liverpool. The skirt needs 50% 4-way stretch, but can use less sturdy fabrics such as rayon spandex and double brushed poly.
