I love this pattern! I am an experienced sewist, with much practice using pdf patterns and knit fabrics.

I made the 3t, according to the measurement chart, and it fits very well, skimming the body and laying nicely, without being tight.

I did the pocket and color blocking dress options and was impressed with how well the pieces fit together. The kangaroo pocket is a great size for little treasures!

My only issue with this pattern is the neck band measurements. With quality 4-way stretch cotton/lycra, and proper assembly (finding fourths and stretching carefully), the neck band was too small to lay nicely without bunching. It looks fine modeled, but quite bunchy when flat. Next time I will follow the “.8 x neck opening + seam alliance” formula when cutting the neck band instead, for sure.

Hi Jo! For this pattern, I used 92% plus SA for the neck band. If you find it to be too bunchy then you will definitely not like it at 80%. I have found that 80% isn’t suitable for any neck band, even when sewn at 1/4″ SA. My neck bands are usually between 90% and 94%, depending on the style. Thank you for your review, I’m so glad you love the pattern!
