I love these! I uses to wear store bought Hanes women’s boxer briefs but I lost too much weight and the stores didn’t carry my new size. Now I can just make my own. These are the comfiest summer sleep shorts. No creeping anywhere and modest enough for those middle of the night kids needs.

I love this pattern! It is a nice easy sew and pairs wonderful with the Brazi. I also like to match them to my dresses and wear them underneath. So comfortable!

I love my Boxerwear. Super comfy & pretty fast sew too. SUAT has another winner here!

Best thing for under skirts and dresses I’ve ever worn.
Bravo. Another perfect pattern!
Christina –
Super comfortable and easy to sew. I made a pair for under dresses and plan to make more for sleeping in too.
Chrissy –
Awesome for women who suffer the dreaded thigh rubbing while wearing skirts and dresses.
Stephanie –
I love how versatile this pattern is. Bedtime shorts, underskirts and dresses, swim bottoms, etc.

These are perfect paired with a Versa Cami for a super comfy sleep set. I might also make some to wear under skirts in the Summer. I love wearing skater skirts in the summer but it’s not always a good idea at the playground with the kids. These might help!

I love my boxer wear for sleeping in! The bands keep them from riding up. They would also be perfect for under skirts!
Kimberly –
These are my new favorite summer PJs!

for me this is the ultimate chub rub protection.
also, they are suprisingly easy to make. the pattern makes it very clear what goes where and when. the result is perfect.

These have become a staple in my wardrobe. Will never wear a dress or skirt without a pair of boxerwear underneath.

I love my boxerwear. I wear these to bed on the hot summer nights and they are so comfy. I also will wear them around the house while cleaning. I can’t wait to make more.
Sara C. –
These are a must have for wearing dresses especially in the summer!

I <3 my boxerwear! I never dreamed I'd be a chick wearing boxers, but here I am! I was never comfortable wearing skirts without compression shorts underneath, but I am totally comfortable wearing these under a dress or skirt! And there is the bonus of being able to wear a pair that matches my dress or skirt! 🙂

I had never even heard of SUAT patterns until last week. Someone in one of my sewing groups mentioned having made SUAT panties from knit fabric scraps. After a few minutes of investigation, I found this website and am now sitting at my laptop in my first pair of lady boxers and one of my husband’s old tee shirts! I can’t stand wearing panties that I can feel. I like knit shorties with no leg bands, and they are so hard to find. Well, I can now make my own, and they are divine! They stay put and neither fall down nor ride up. They were undetectable under tight jeans for shopping this afternoon and look like my workout shorties paired with a tee shirt just hanging around the house. Can’t wait to make another pair tomorrow! 🙂

The pattern is well written and the instructions are very clear.
My only request would be for the pattern to have finished garment measurements rather than body measurements to guide in the size you’d like to make (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). It’d be easier to measure something that fits you well and pick a size based on that measurement. We all like different amounts of ease in our garments, so picking a size based on body measurements isn’t as precise as I would like.
Other than that, I’m very pleased with my boxerwear! They’re great under a skirt or dress and were super comfy while I slept. I’ll definitely be making more.

Goodbye chub rub, goodbye wedgies! These are perfect for wearing under my dropped-crotch work pants. I can bend over quickly to snatch up an escaping chick, or hop over the fence if need be, and these don’t bind up on me.

I was looking for a boy shorts underwear pattern but couldn’t seem to find one. The seams on underwear, even scrundlewear, tend to rub and irritate my skin.
So I decided to try this one out. I decided to shorten them by 2in and hem them to be the style I was looking for. I used a 4-way stretch double-brushed poly (only some of the DBP I had was stretchy enough) lined with cotton, and I love them. Just what I wanted, feels like wearing nothing. I’m glad I gave them a chance.

This pattern is great! I started by making a pair out of CL in the longer length and I was hooked. I hate buying underwear, it’s so expensive and the regular panties that I usually get sometimes ride up and give me a wedgie. So I wanted to try making my own boxer briefs and I’m happy that I can wear them just like regular underwear and they won’t ride up. I even made a couple of pairs with some cotton FT that I got in a mystery box that I didn’t love, so I figured I might as well make them into undies . . . the FT is nice for the cold winter. I also made a pair of compression shorts with athletic fabric – I lengthened the long length by 2″ to use as workout shorts. I plan to try using swim knit for swim shorts in the summer.

I made one pair. They are very comfortable, easy to make. Great instructions (the best I have seen). The multi size feature is fantastic. I am going to make some for my mommy who’s a couple of sizes bigger than me.

After my thrombectomy, I needed underwear that wouldn’t rub along the incision site. This pattern worked perfectly, with no seams or leg hole elastic in that area.
Mary –
I love this pattern – so amazingly versatile! underwear, sleep wear, casual wear, workout wear, and yes, swim! The fit is perfect!!

Just bought the pattern today and made my first pair! So great! Easy, except I messed up the hidden seam part but they still turned out awesome. I did the hemmed leg, but sewed in a piece of thin elastic so they wouldn’t stretch out or ride up. Worked perfectly. Can’t wait to make more! And some swim shorts, goodbye swimming wedgies and wardrobe issues! I’ve been researching women’s boxers, unhappy with the prices and availability. I’m so glad I purchased this pattern. Measurements were also spot on for sizing. This was my first purchase from here, but it definitely won’t be my last!
