There are 11 sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, and 6X which will fit full hip measurements of 30″ to 66″.
Included in this pattern is a PDF pattern printable on letter or A4 sized paper, a layered A0 file for print-shop printing, and a projector file.

The pattern is ok. The boyshort style ends up looking like granny panties if I don’t adjust the band size. With the suggested band size it sits in a place that folds over every time I sit down. The brief style is better except for whatever reason they always immediately go up my bum. I do prefer patterns I don’t have to make changes to but it works once I have tweaked it.

I chose this pattern wrongly as I really wanted the fullest coverage of the Bunzies. Not to worry though, as I combined the patterns with the bum cover of the Bunzies with the boy leg from this pattern. Some Bunzies, some my combo, I made TEN pair of super comfy easy make knickers, plus another five that didn’t really work in Scrundies as they were only interlock knit and not Lycra. You REALLY do need Lycra. And YES I did the stretch test, still didn’t work. Some of them I cut the crotch off the pattern and cut 2 linings to get more out of the material, as I know this cool trick of doing the crotch where you get 2 enclosed seams. That could be offered as an option, though it does make it a bit harder it’s loads of fun. For the Scrundies method I preferred to fold the crotch flap under and stitch down to tidy it up.
I have saved loads by making my own, as my favourite similar store bought undies go for $28 EACH. For these it’s come out at $15 each for ten and it would have been $9.50 if they had all turned out. And of course less if I’d actually chosen the right pattern to start with. The more you do the cheaper it gets.
Awesome easy to follow instructions. I’m not much of an overlock sewist but this is great.
Overall, great. I could make another 15 if I could afford the material!

I got this pattern, because it is pretty popular and has tons of good reviews. The pattern itself is well drafted, true to size and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Unfortunately the fit doesn’t quite work for me. Both versions will only cover my size 10-12 bum with wide knit leg bands. This is very comfortable, but a bit bulky. I was hoping to be able to finish them with lingerie elastic or stretch lace, but then they ride up and don’t stay put. It’s a bummer, because it seems to work fine for most people.
Now I’ve also bought the Bunzies, because of the full coverage option. I haven’t try it yet, but I’m hopeful this will solve the problem.

I bought this pattern a long time ago and finally got around to making some. WHY did I wait so long???!!! These are FABULOUS!! I’ve made 2 so far; one in a very light 4-way stretchy knit and the other with a somewhat less stretchy double knit. Both are briefs with banded legs. One has a fold-over elastic waistband and the other has a band waist. The band waist version comes up to my actual waist and is SO comfortable that it feels almost as though I’m wearing nothing. The fold over elastic waistband version is more like a hip hugger style (which is my favorite) and is also a perfect fit. I love them both and will be making more asap. These are SO DANG comfortable that as soon as I have enough made I’ll be throwing out all my over-priced, poorly made “store-boughts”. This pattern is genius and needs no alterations for my size 14 bod.
For the first time in years I have totally comfortable underwear.

I had no intention of making my own underwear. I had been wearing the same brand for years or so and thought I was still happy with them. Boy shorts were a style that had never interested me. Then a friend made some Scrundlewear and I thought the pattern might be fun to try…another use for my relatively new serger.
Imagine my surprise to find that:
1. Scrundlewear are actually fun to make!
2. They are WAY more comfortable than my “usual” brand of RTW!
3. They are quick to sew!
4. Because underwear are small using the PDF pattern was easy to print and tape.
I really like these well drafted, excellent fitting, underwear! The instructions are very well done. Thanks for having the pattern…next up may be Frisky Knickers!
